THE 2017 HUGO AWARDS

They’re finally upon us!  The 2017 Hugo Awards ceremony will be taking place today at approximately 2:30 pm est.  We’re very interested to see who the winners will be.  We’re equally interested in seeing what effect the voting rules changes will have on the outcome, if any, and, of course, we’re very excited about being able to watch our Spanish Language Editor – Tanya Tynjala – present the Best Fan Writer Award.

Here’s the link to CoverItLive, where you can find text coverage of the awards ceremony.  As soon as Worldcon 75 crew post the links for the video feed, we’ll add them here.

Here’s how this post works.  As the awards are announced (they typically begin with the Campbells and work up from the bottom, culminating with Best Novel), we will highlight the winner and move that entry to the top of our list.  (That means we will be updating this post multiple times during the ceremony.)

Once we receive the final voting tallies, we’ll re-arrange the listing here to reflect that.

Note:  Puppy-related sadness is currently shown in a sickly green color.
