SF Signal Shuts Down

Over here at Amazing Stories, we’re very sad to have learned that SF Signal has decided to cease publication.

John and the crew at SF Signal have been very supportive of Amazing Stories over the years;  the website was part of my personal daily reading as I try to keep up with the field.

They will be greatly missed.

You can read the Signal’s good-bye note here.

Plans are afoot to archive the site (we’ve offered to help) and we are also offering safe-haven to any Signal refugees who would like to continue posting.  Just drop us a line.

SF Signal goes down in the annals of SF History as the first online publication to have won a Best Fanzine Hugo Award (not once, but twice!), and everryone here at Amazing Stories consider those to be well-deserved rewards.

We wish everyone involved with SF Signal the best!
